Tax season is here — and April 15 is just around the corner! Do you dread filling out those confusing forms? Are you afraid of making a mistake? Or does someone you care about need tax help this year?

The AARP Foundation’s Tax-Aide program is here to help — absolutely free.

Between February 1 and April 15, Tax-Aide volunteers nationwide provide free tax preparation assistance to taxpayers with low and moderate incomes, offering special attention to people age 60 and older! This vital service is only partially funded by the government.

Get All the Money You Deserve

Did you know that every year millions of low- and moderate-income people don’t get all the deductions and credits they deserve from the government at tax time?

Last year alone, almost 15 million people — many of them seniors — never received the money they deserved simply because they didn’t know anything about the credits and deductions that belong to them!

And that’s tragic. Because whether it’s $300 or $3,000, that’s money many people need for food, housing, medical expenses, and other essentials.

Over 32,000 trained volunteers nationwide, however, Tax-Aide prepares federal returns for low- and moderate-income taxpayers — especially seniors — helping them obtain all the money they’re entitled to. Last year, Tax-Aide volunteers served 2.1 million people. As a result, nearly $160 million in earned income tax credits were paid to taxpayers nationwide.

So get the help you need today!
